About this shop: Books on Bay is a vintage bookstore at 411 Abercorn Street in Savannah's Historic District, across from Clary's Cafe. The shelves hold thousands of vintage books from the 1600s to the late 1900s: classics, Civil War and Southern history, Gone With the Wind, Wizard of Oz, children's series such as Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys and Dick & Jane, westerns, whodunits and poetry, plus gently read current and vintage paperbacks.
